Create Change

There are 3 ways to create change in the world.

  1. Use a top down approach (AKA political) by choosing leaders or movements that you think will move the needle on important metrics in your life.

  2. Use a bottom up approach (AKA Grassroots) by creating relationships and alliances that build into a larger movement set on changing metrics that matter to you.

  3. Use an inside out approach (AKA Spiritual) by focusing on internal growth and development so you see the world differently.

The third approach doesn’t get much attention but it’s the most powerful. When you change from the inside out you no longer have to convince other people the issues you care about are worth their attention. People will notice you operate differently than the norm because you’ll seem happier and more peaceful. They’ll want the same in their own life and they’ll come to you asking what you’re doing to stay so calm and happy all the time.

Then you’ll tell them, and they’ll actually listen because you’ve proven what you’re doing works. No more screaming hoping people listen, no more chasing people down to join your cause. Before you know it, the change you seek to create in the world begins, one person at a time.
